After Sonal, here’s another blogger from India to tell you about her curly hair routine. Over to Suma!
“Hello Guys, I am Suma Amujuri. I am very happy to be collaborating with Anjana for Curls and Beauty Diary. And I am very excited to share my curly hair routine. Here we go!
Getting affordable chemical free shampoos and conditioners in India is a big quest. After months of searching, I found a brand called KRONOKARE. This brand really does what it promises. I use their Caribbean Ginger Shampoo and Conditioner. They are sulphate and paraben free and detox the hair well.
After shampooing, I section my hair into two parts and take a pump of conditioner into my hand and apply it to one section. I do not use a comb to detangle my hair in the shower. Finger detangling is the best. I repeat the same with the other section. Let the conditioner sit on your hair for 10 minutes and rinse off with cold or luke warm water but never with hot water.
Then I use a soft T-shirt to wrap my hair and jump out of the shower.
The styling part can get tricky depending on the products you use. I use aloe vera gel on my wet hair and scrunch it up, to enhance my natural curl pattern and give more definition to hair. I follow this up with the L’Oreal Oil-in-cream and repeat scrunching.
Then I air dry my hair. It usually takes me 3 to 4 hours to completely dry my hair.
And we are done! This is the most affordable routine I found for my curly hair with the products available in India. You can always checkout my channel for more. Let the hair do the magic, don’t just heat style your luscious locks.”
